Mon 18 April:
To capitalise on as much exposure
in the clubs as possible for the forthcoming release of
‘Calling Out My Name', Nicki has agreed to do
some shows geared just towards the promotion of the song.
These shows will consist of a maximum of three songs,
as opposed to the half hour spot she is used to performing.
The reason Nicki is doing this is to allow some
of the smaller venues, who normally would not be able to pay
Nicki’s usual fee, to book her at a slightly reduced rate
– hence the reduced show.
Nicki does not want anyone to think that
she is ‘short-changing’ the fans.
Far from it – she just wants the opportunity to entertain
as many people as possible! She would also much prefer
to do her usual 30 minutes, but funding at some venues is limited.
So as to avoid any confusion,
the shows listed on the Diary that will be
the three-song PA's will be marked ‘[*Promo]’.

Wed 23 February:
This weekend the official video for
'Calling Out My Name' will be shot in an undisclosed location
in the South West of England.
The video will be used to promote the single
on its release in May 2005.
Mon 21 February:
The release date for "Calling" has been put back to
May 2nd allowing the record company more time for promotion,
it looks like there will a CD and 12" vinyl -
due to the new "House" mixes delivered by Jonesey.
"I Surrender" will be released on a compilation album in Germany
on ZYX records, and the DJ service "Hot Tracks" in the USA will be featuring
the track on a vinyl promo disc,
distrubting the song out to hundreds of DJ's across America.
Nicki has an interview with GWR radio.
BBC Radio has shown an interest in receiving copies of 'Calling Out My Name'

Mon 15 November: Nicki's new single 'I Surrender'
will be available from the following retailers:
HMV, Virgin, Woolworths, Amazon and MVC.
The single will also be available to the US as an Import
and worldwide as a legal download.
The record company are currently working on television promotion for
the January release of the 2005 Anniversary mix of
'Total Eclipse of the Heart' and the new single
'Calling Out My Name'

Sat 13 November: It has been confirmed that Nicki will be appearing on the TV show
'Never Mind The Buzzcocks'.
The show will be filmed on January 5th 2005 and will be aired the following week.
A confirmation of the airing date will be posted soon.

The 'Pop Tip chart' (commercial pop chart for the dj's),
I Surrender has stormed up to a whacking Number 7!!!
A massive jump from Number 16 last week!
The DMC chart currently holds I Surrender at Position 16.
This is amazing as 'I Surrender' has had very little promotion so far!
